This office has been the worse office I have ever been to. The office people are so bad. They are so incompetent. They lie right to your face. They have no idea what going on. They leave you waiting. Last time was four hours. This time was just as bad. The doctor is good but ,not good enough to put up with his office. Please go anywhere else. I see Dr. Noman Bettle myself and his office and the Doctor has been excellent. This visit is my husband last. We only stay because he is so sick and needed his test results.
After going there for a number of yrs, I’ve found the staff at the front desk and billing dept. mgr. to be quite unprofessional and incompetent!! Even other professionals in this area have agreed with me on this issue!! During a phone conversation w/ the billing dept. manager, which my sister overheard, she found her behavior as abnormally unprofessional and NOT adhering to the rules of my insurance company!! I typically hesitate to leave a negative review and truly believe in giving the benefit of the doubt, but my personal experience as a patient of this practice mirrored most of the several similar reviews (for both the Okatie and Port Royal offices) regarding the office manager's curt/dismissive approach and delays in action/response leading to delayed treatment. I had a fantastic experience from the check in staff, to the nurse as well as Dr mazzeo. I didn’t feel “written off.” I felt like Dr mazzeo listened to my concerns and proceeded to run tests in a timely manner that would’ve caught any urgent diagnosis. I was able to easily get ahold of staff regarding appointments and needed medical reports.
I did not have the care I needed there and was mostly referred out for tests by the PA. Now my primary has referred me to an office in Savannah, but it has been over 2 months since that office requested my medical records and they have never received them.
