This so called doctor only cares about money not his patients. Spent few minutes with me to diagnose me, come to find out he gave the exact same speech to several other patients. Told one to keep coming back because it’s more money in his pocket. Horrible bedside manners. Rude and doesn’t respect his patients nor does he care about them. Would never recommend him to anyone. The staff at one of the hospitals he works at would cringe when his name was mentioned. Says a lot. Deserved 0 starts.
He was my doctor at Kingwood Pines. He took over 24 hours to see me, so I was incredibly unstable, anxious, and depressed. I met with him once where he talked to me for 5 minutes and prescribed me a medication for depression. He only met with me once more when I requested to leave the hospital, but he threatened to have the court commit me for 45 days instead of my promised 5-7 days. It hurt my mental health even more having to deal with him as my doctor.
I talked to him for 2 minutes was he was kinda aggressive and only saw him once his NP PORMISED I WOULD Be out and lied about getting ama and would never talk to me only wanted me for insurance when I tried to shake his hand he was very rude
This was the worst Dr I have every seen, he left me in the hospital longer then I need to be there because I have good insurance, please do not deal with him i will not recommend him to my worst enemy.
I had to switch from him to someone else a few years back when he moved further away. My life has gotten so much worse w my new doctor. I'm seriously going to make an appointment and drive an hour and a half to see Dr. Akpudo.
Distracted and little attention to the patient. Horrible communication.
Only spent 5 minutes with me and was on his phone the whole time. Terrible bedside manners. Saw his PA and nurse practitioner once a month for refills. He disappeared. I would not recommend him. Just wants to collect a paycheck!!!
Jessica has always been kind and compassionate to me, and I've been seeing her for almost two years. Regardless of the weight I give to changes in my health status (I tend to have a dry, self-deprecating manner), mood or concerns, she takes everything I say very seriously and works with me to adjust our approach toward my issues.
