This place is horrible. In short I went in for burning with my contacts. Going back and forth checking different contacts they burned significantly worse and I was given the same burning contact lenses and deemed “allergic to scilicone” which is SO RARE. Saw a different “doctor” each time that told me a different story. Spent $500 on a yearly prescription of contacts that lasted me 6 months bc of the burning and $175 to get my eyes rechecked.
I was in on Tuesday 7/28/26 and had the worst eye exam experience in my entire life by Dr Alexander Field, he should not be practicing medicine. Both my husband and I have been using this office since we moved here in 2022 and have always been satisfied with the doctors care . But this time it was so strange and uncomfortable I called and complained. I now have to go back in to be reexamined by another doctor. Everyone was so pleasant. The gentleman at the front was very good with patients and has a great attitude. The tech in the back was training and was still very thorough and explained every step. The doc was great!
I did not like the way I was treated by Dr. Reid during my last visit. His arrogance and haughty behavior during my examination made me feel uncomfortable and disappointed. I did not appreciate his sarcastic comments and exasperation when he answered my questions and addressed my concerns during the exam. Definitely will not visit this place again and I will not recommend it to anyone. I’m grateful that there are so many eye care options available in this area where I am sure I will be respected and appreciated as a patient.
I want to report irregularity in the practice of Coastal Grand Eye Associates, carried out by front desk receptionist. As a first-time customer, I had my routine eye exam. Front desk receptionist mentioned routine eye exam will be covered through my insurance. After completing exam at the time of check out, she wanted me to pay $39 for retinal imaging.
