Buyer beware! My partner, an ECE with OCDSB, has had first aid and cpr certification for years. She signed up for her recertification, with colleague, at Coast2Coast. Her previous certification was through the City of Ottawa Paramedic Service, (Ottawa.ca/cpr) a recognized certification for the city. Not only did Coast2Coast say didn't recognize her certification, there would be an additional charge to 'upgrade' her training for a package she didn't even need! Very disappointing experience. The customer service is unprofessional and poorly organized. First, they failed to send me access to the online course and instead sent a threatening email saying I’d have to pay again to reschedule. After attending the in-person course, I received no certification. When I followed up, it took three days to get a reply—only to be told I was marked absent, despite having temporary proof of completion.
