Rooms were super clean. On-site restaurant had great fish n chips, chowder and drinks.

First room smelled like cigarette smoke and then changed to a second room that also smelled like smoke. Then we switched to a third room and while we were in bed they rented our room to another guest where was surprised to see us in the room! I was able to get another room at a different hotel and get a refund! Do not stay here it is terrible!

Our group stayed here after a week long stay in the Kenai area fishing. Overall the room and experience was fine until they decided to host a birthday party in their event center and the DJ was blasting music and the bass was so extreme it shook the entire room and literally vibrated the bed. We proceeded to call the front desk asking what could be done and were basically told nothing and the music would end at midnight. Terrible response and lack of accountability. The Coast Inn at Lake Hood was lovely! Everyone who worked there was friendly and helpful. The Inn was clean and comfortable. We loved watching the float planes and the birds at the lake. We enjoyed our stay, and we will return!
