always friendly and courteous with cafe right there
We have stayed at this hotel several times in the past and have always had good stays. However, we were very disappointed to see the definite deterioration in this property and are very unlikely to visit this hotel again. The property is in need of a major refurbishing throughout to reflect what we expect in a Coast Hotel! The Bathroom was very tired looking with stained tubs and grouting that was rusty with possible black mold. Tubs really need to be replaced. Even floor tiles in bathroom seemed grimy. Okay for a night but nothing special. Room was clean, but bathroom and the hallways and elevator were in need of some serious deep cleaning or renovation. I would come again because this is one of the only somewhat acceptable places to stay, however, if would still be great if some work was put into making it better. The breakfast was very rudimentary as you'd expect for a budget hotel.
