The coastal dental on Allen Rd charge me price when I gave them my insurance info prior to the appt and at time of service. I asked if this was my responsibility because it was much higher than I expected, they replied , yes. Long story short, they charged me cost , then billed my insurance and the insurance paid too for the same services and they charged me for an expensive service I never had done. I had an absolutely horrible experience with the Coast Dental on Allen rd and 54. I provide my CIGNA dental information prior to my appointment. I had a late afternoon appointment, I was scheduled for a deep cleaning, an office visit to discuss my periodontal disease and treatment. During my visit , they discovered I had 4 cavities and they made molds for my trays for my treatment. I have to give my experience with Coastal Dental in Zephyrhills, Fla. The Dentist, her assistant & Hygienist were wonderful. My problem is with the office manager who was very rude and condescending. I was charged $305 which I thought was the balance that my insurance company did not cover. When I called Sunbit, they informed me that it was for the whitening tray which I knew nothing about.
