Very solid, dependable oil company I have been a customer of Coan Oil for 9 years. They are the most reputable oil dealer in the area. Their prices are little higher than some of the "discount" dealers but it is well worth it because their service is very good and they have good facilities. Several times I have needed same day deliveries or furnace restarts/line bleeding and they have come promptly. May family has been a customer of Coan since 1957 and they are the A1 We have been a customer for over 50 years. This company offers superior service. They are always their, 2AM in the morning or anytime service is needed. They offer superior service at fair prices. They are trustworthy, reliable and I give them a 5 star rating.
Disgusted I have been a customer of Coil Oil for 16 years. They started out having good service for the burner. I purchased over the course of the 15 years a new burner and a new whole house air-conditioner and a new water tank. Pluses: They always deliver oil on time. During the first five years they had great technicians but then there was a lot of turnover. Negatives: Their prices are the highest around. Excellent service I've used Coan's services for so many different things. Primarily, we have had a service contract for oil deliveries and service on our oil furnace. When our heat when out on a freezing cold evening, the technician was there fast, was very friendly, and fixed the problem immediately. In addition, he noticed there was a problem with our hot water heater (which Coan does not service). Without the tech noticing this, we would have had a mess in the basement. Not good for air conditioning We are long-time customers and have gotten good service with our oil heat, but their air-conditioning service is another matter. They don't seem to know what they're doing, and when we've complained, they've been rude and defensive.
