I showed up for an appointment. There werevthree of us waiting for a tour and property 40 minutes waiting we shook our heads, thumbs down and left. 1st RED flag. I've left several Voice messages and one week later I received a voicemail. I returned several times and no follow up! 2nd RED flag!! The lack of inconsistency and unprofessionalism of how tenants are treated you have lost my business Coachhill Apartments. The management here urgently needs a complete overhaul. Units are outdated and run-down, yet rents are jacked up far beyond their actual market value. On top of that, the resident manager clearly shows favoritism toward certain tenants. Despite "No Smoking" signs throughout the property, residents regularly smoke inside their apartments, leaving the hallways and building constantly smelling like cigarette smoke. My experience at Coachman House Apartments, which is owned by Shelter Canadian Properties Limited, has been extremely disappointing. After more than five years living there and always paying my rent on time, the conditions of the building were very concerning. During my time in the apartment there were rats and insects present, even under the carpet, which is completely unacceptable for any residential building.
