The Coach and Horses Tea Room is the BEST in at least 2 continents! (I haven’t traveled far.) An avid tea drinker, I cherish their variety of choices in fresh blends, as well as, Scottish baked treats, especially their scones- the best I ever tasted. It’s worth the 150 minute drive from my home to treat myself and friends to a homey, colonial atmosphere and quite delightful fare. The establishment was built in 1790. My daughters took me there for my birthday. It was fabulous. Tea, food and service were wonderful. Will definitely go again.
Very nice place, relaxing. Tea and food was amazing. We weren’t hurried, we so enjoyed our 3 plus hours we spent there. We’re going to make plans to go back.
We went for my mom's birthday. We dressed up and enjoyed the entire experience.(You don't have to dress up but it adds to the fun.) The food is outstanding. It is made fresh when you order just for you. It took about two hours and it was soooo worth the time. Please book early too. They can get busy. The people that run this charming place. Id amazing and so much fun to chat with as well. If you live in the area and haven't done it. It's a must do!
We celebrated my niece's bridal shower here ! It was such a special event. For our families.Coming together as one. It was an ideal place for this special event.. The staff and the owner. Was so helpful & and made this bridal shower very memorable for us all.. We all so enjoyed this special day . The Coach and Horses Tea Room had Wonderful service and wonderful food and Teas. We loved it! Thank you so much..
They were very accomdating to a required gluten free diet making sure everything was separate woth no cross contamination. They also always have plenty of food and are group usually gets a take home box which usually doesn't happen at tea rooms.
