My sister and I brought my mom here as a birthday surprise. Everything was PERFECT!! The atmosphere, food, staff and tea were exactly what I was hoping for! We had such a great time and there were so many teas to choose from. We got so much food that we had to take some home because we were stuffed. We will definitely be back!
I love having teas, hosting teas and trying new spots for tea. My daughter treated me to a lovely Birthday here yesterday . It was lovely! The food was displayed so beautifully - was delicious — and filling! We’ll definitely book another tea soon. Only suggestion - better parking arrangements please!
We come every year, when we are enjoying our Massanutten timeshare! Although this tea room is over an hour drive away it is sooo worth it! The food is unsurpassed! FYI my daughters and I visit multiple tea rooms throughout the year. I found the Coach & horses 4 years ago and this continues to be a highlight of our January vacation week! We had a wonderful time. The food was GREAT and the tea was so good. I will definitely be going back again. The food is delicious. Everyone was very pleasant and made the visit perfect.
Beautiful setting in a charming old house. Not at all snooty or pretentious, just really good food served by really nice people. Incredible large tea menu. The gentleman blends his own teas and the one with Peach and Thyme was particularly amazing. The Lapsang Souchong is also delicious, the best we have ever had. My husband had never had a tea meal before and was worried he'd be left hungry. That was not the case at all, portions we're very generous and there was such a variety.
