Let me begin by saying that Dr. Mendez himself is a good doctor. Very thorough with his evaluation and treatment! I will not take that away. However when it comes to getting paperwork or information once visits are over he is horrible! Almost lost my job because I couldn’t get the paperwork filled out to give to my employer. Also he has records of when my visits are and would not give me notes for work to those dates even though he would not release me till he saw me. I can't say enough about CNY Spine. Dr. Battista and staff are so kind and friendly. The atmosphere in the office is so peaceful you relax as soon as you enter the front door. My experience was very pleasant to say the least, I was very apprehensive about receiving an injection , the staffs calm demeanor put me instantly at ease. Everything was explained in detail, from start to finish, Dr. Battista explained everything he was doing as he was doing it.
