CMI is fantastic! When my husband was picking out my engagement ring 7 years ago he specially had it made with hearts in the setting!! Then just a few weeks ago he purchased me a second wedding band. I wanted all three rings to be sauttered together, but I still wanted to see the hearts in the setting of my engagement ring. My wedding set was stolen which was very unusual. Kim was amazing to work with. He was so committed to finding the right diamond and recreating the original setting he even brought a jeweler out of retirement to create it. Amazing commitment to excellency. I wouldn't go anywhere else to purchase jewelry.
I had a wonderful experience searching for, and purchasing, my fiancee's engagement ring at CMI. I worked directly with Kaye; she was very personable and patient with me throughout the whole process. Kaye was good about returning phone calls and updating me during the process. CMI listened to what I was looking for and they were able to quickly (within 3 days) bring in a variety of additional settings and loose diamonds for me to choose from. LOVED my experience with Kim at CMI. Was referred by a friend and was pleased to find a jewelry store that was honest and humble. I went for a repair on my engagement ring and no matter how upset I said I was with the other place I went for the poor job they did on my ring, the employees at CMI never down-talked the competition. Their jewelry selection is top notch but the customer service you receive goes far above and beyond all others. Best jewelry store in Raleigh. I needed to get my wedding band re-sized. I narrowed my search to CMI and Baileys based on Citysearch reviews. Baileys said it would cost $140. They said that they would not be able to etch any of the pattern in the new section (my ring has Claddagh symbols with a woven pattern in between each symbol). CMI sized my ring for $60 and the jeweler was able to continue the pattern in the new section of the ring.
