I would never use this company after we sell this house. We bought it 2021 and they didn't even say anything having two tax bills and they didn't do the escrow calculation correct so this year they increase it 325 on top our current payment making 1675 a month I even asked to come off escrow but I didn't get any notice of deny that they said I got it. Currently going through a streamline refinance with my bank. I can't bring cash to close as I wanted to pay down the loan amount to have a smaller payment. So I have to pay down my current loan amount with CMG. The online feature to pay a lump sum down instructed me to call the provided phone number. I went through the phone system, and asked to pay xx amount of dollars to principal. The system properly repeated xx amount back to principal and I confirmed "yes". Use the services of this great genius (HackWest at Writeme dot Com) and get your credit report cleaned. He told me not to be skeptical that he will get the my report fixed within 4 days, he’s a true credit specialist. DO NOT USE CMG MORTGAGE!!! CMG is at the top of my sh*t list!!! I discovered 2/9/21 that they did not pay my homeowners insurance back in Sept. 2020 so my policy was cancelled!! They could not get it re-instated so they had to put a force placed policy on my account to cover the claim I needed to file. I was told it would be at no cost to me yet my mortgage payment increased by $500 A MONTH!!! I have been back & forth for 5 months now trying to get this sorted out and get my money refunded yet they still have not honored the... read more

CMG is the worst. Find another mortgage company. Im currently remortgaging and finding all kinda of little surprise amounts added to my loan. They are a total scam.

This company is a JOKE! Our loan was sold to CMG and when I contacted them to give them the POA that I have due to my husband working in Vietnam, Mr. Figgures #0197 (he refused to give me his full name) said to me "Stop lying lady! We're not at war with Vietnam any longer!" I was shocked that he said something so ignorant! I reported this incident but no one ever followed up with me. We plan on refinancing with another company asap!

CMG paid my Hazard Insurance twice... I was told this would be credited back to my account...Now it's Feb 1st and no credit after 2 months...My Escrow Account has been depleted and now Taxes will be due... Today I was told that I must get my Insurance Company to refund the extra payment to me... I lost all my trust in CMG after this fiasco...Going to refinance with another lender.

I had an FHA mortgage loan which CMG bought from the original lender. I refinanced to a conventional mortgage with another lender and CMG received the owed principal plus over $1,000 in fees on Nov 19 to close the loan. I was notified at that time in writing that my escrow account was closed and my balance was around $1,240.00 and that would be refunded to me by check.
