I was referred there for a surgery for swollen masses on my rear shoulder blades causing severe pain. I waited a month for the appointment. When I get to my appointment I met with a Physician Assistant who reviewed what was going on and was told there are NO DOCTORS that work or meet with patients at Atrium Health General Surgery EVER. Seriously?? Then I’m informed that I will only meet the Doctor doing the surgery on the day of my surgery and the Physician Assistant can’t tell me who it will be. Giving 5 stars for Adrian, she gave me a call to notify me that my surgery was being rescheduled for another date & after expressing my concerns, she was able to get me into another facility on a day that worked better with my schedule & will allow me more recovery time, with less time off work. She is super helpful, great customer service & a valuable employee for Atrium Health!
Horrible experience, super hard to get ahold of your care provider. They didn’t link MyAtrium Health to my specialized surgical provider so I can’t message them. I was relayed through over 10 people to be told they’ll message my provider. Wouldn’t connect me to the nurse desk or anything. And were super rude, mind you I’m waiting on really important test results that Labcorp says are in over a week ago but but my provider has!
Horrible customer service. I had a consultation 2 months ago and scheduled my surgery after the appointment. My appointment is next week and I called to see if I needed someone with me, and they said no because it was another office visit. I stated no I already had my office visit and would like for someone to call me. I then got a note from someone else in the office stating that the surgery would not be done but they seen that I had went to another office and that I should maybe contact them instead.
