I had a very negative experience with CMC recently. During the short time (one month) that CMC managed my rental property, Mike the owner gave me several reasons not to trust him. After I made a complaint to the BBB, Mike resorted to name calling and threatened to sue me for defamation. He also refused to return my tenants $400 pet deposit as if he had somehow earned it.
I have lived in a CMC property for three years and if I wasn’t moving out of state, I would continue to live there. All my needs were met promptly, the leasing process was easy, the price was great, and the staff are super friendly. If I move back to Wichita, I’ll be calling them up!!
Edit: We were with these guys for over a year and a half. Fantastic people, great communication and I was very disappointed when the property we were staying at was contracted to a different management company. Thank you guys for your great work! We've just been here a month but so far he has been great. If we need something fixed, general maintenance no emergency yet, 🤞 we can send a text and one of the old guys will show up, fix what you need and the door that doesn't close right because he noticed it. CMC took over the property we rent in April. Just a couple of days after they took over the hot water tank went out. They were there immediately to fix the tank. A few days later the lift tank went out and a clogged sewer. Both Mike the property manager and Mike their maintenance guy are both top notch. I highly recommend them.
Two thumbs down. I will never use this guy again.
