Nice staff and when I went to join I was talked through all the options, and felt that it was let to me to decide what I wanted, rather than being pressured into something. The gym space itself has lots of space and it has never felt crowded when I've been there.
Apparently you have to go into the gym to cancel your membership. If i was going to the gym i wouldn't be cancelling. For this reason alone i will never join this gym again.
The equipment here is VERY OLD and worn out!!! I'm afraid something is going to fall apart on a customer on day because the machines vibrate so bad it's unbearable! Haven't really experienced this at the other locations but if I have, the machines were replaced. Also, when it is 20° outside, there is no reason why the air should be blasting cold. People are in a gym sweating, with ice cold air blasting on them just to step outside into more cold, doesn't make much sense. I pointed this out to an employee and he claim he was ... read more
It's too crowded. It was okay before the new year, but I can't get in to use the equipment I need to use.
went in this morning to get membership, and stood at front counter for 10 minutes waiting for someone to show up and help me, then went walking around and was met by a very rude little girl who told me I needed a "waiver" to come in and walk around. I told her I was looking to join, very nasty attitude. PLANET FITNESS got my business instead!
What can I say about the Dogtown Club Fitness location? I don’t think I can say enough nice things about them. Their manager, Matt, is a wonderfully useless manager. And their back-office customer service is even worse. My girlfriend and I SEPARATELY signed up for a month to month membership through the Dogtown location. This is a God damn joke having access to this so called 24 access club, spent 15 minutes trying to get inside and wouldn't work, this is one reason why I didn't want to rejoin this company, So I have to sit here waiting for the fucking club to unlock its doors and waste my time to use the damn gym, why the fuck can't they have things that work.
