Biggest scam I have ever seen. Told me it would be not problem to cancel since my daughter is away at school, kept the membership for a year with freezes, now they won't cancel without a buyout!!!! They absolutely lied when telling me I could cancel at any time!!! Never told me it would add additional time when I froze the account. Cancelled my Club Fitness membership via mail AND in the Club Fitness (Collinsville, IL) location in August of 2016, OVER A YEAR AGO, and just got a bill in the mail saying that not only did they charge me for an entire year worth of membership fees for a membership I cancelled TWICE, I owe an extra $60 for “delinquent” payments since my bank started rejecting their charges. I love this gym, with the new expansion its way better and all the machines work all the time!
Love the new expansion! Would love to see an expansion with the fitness class schedule to include Body Pump classes.
The expansion this past winter/spring took this club to a whole new level. Fantastic place to work out! DFM trainer Nick is 2nd to none. If you have fitness goals of any level, seek him out. You will not be diappointed.
Club fitness is a joke, canceled account months ago, come to find out there still drawing money out of my account every month still! Worst part is there telling me it's my fault I didn't cancel properly. Sad excuse for a scam,I know of several other people with same issue! Maybe they should educate there employees to know how to cancel an account when that's what a customer request.
