In the late 90's I discovered Bruno's on E 58th while staying at the Picasso Apartments a few doors West. On Sat Aug 29/15 my friend Mary-Ann and I enjoyed the finest dining experience we've had in a long time and we are originally from Montreal. (I now live in Toronto; she in Elmira.) Love this place!!!! Old world TRUE steak house!!! The bacon appetizer is heaven, the ceasar salad Devine, the steak cooked to perfection!!! Don't forget your sides to share ESPECIALLY the truffle mac n cheese!! Yes, you heard me right TRUFFLE mac n cheese. The staff was fun, friendly and knowledgeable beyond compare!!! One of the best "hidden" gems in NYC and I have eaten at all the "big" names. Owner Bruno walking around checking up on guests is a welcome change from the usual corporate steakhouses. Can't miss.
