Medical service had been great, but we were recently pushed out over a bill we had been paying, and sent to collections. No notifications of this, just had to call to have our sick daughter seen and told that we can’t be seen because of SEVENTY DOLLARS. We also can’t pay off the bill because it’s been sent to collections. I will never come back to a place that has so little compassion for its patients, and I suggest that you find someone else who won’t be so petty as to ignore a sick child over 70 bucks.
We unfortunately did not have a great experience the few visits we had with Dr. Roscoe for our newborn (2nd baby, not my first rodeo). During our appointment Dr. Roscoe was extremely insensitive, condescending, and really just lacked empathy I’d hope any pediatrician would have when conversing with a new mama. I really should have known from the name of this place not to take them seriously but their “Christian focus” advertising lead me to give them a chance. It was a huge mistake. I’ve never felt more disrespected by a doctors office than at this one and my children were not comfortable with most of the staff (over the course of several appointments). This post is meant for hope of growth over the years. I took both of my young kids from birth to around 18mo age. Agree with another post about if your child doesn’t have health problems and needs normal checkups it was a fine place. Around my child’s 18mo month mark lots of different situations began. For a whole year she struggled with what I know now as asthma. Weeks after weeks after weeks of going to Clown to help her breathing.
