A perfect place to watch Mardi Gras crowds on the Quarter from its big windows, Clover Grill is well known for hamburgers. The eleven red stools along the diner counter are a great place to be seated and to drink in the place. The Pork Chop and Chicken Fried Steak and Eggs is finger licking good. If you don't fancy what's on the menu, feel free to make your own burger or omelette! The juke box fills the room with foot-tapping music. Laugh your heart out leafing through Clover's humourous menu. The friendly staff, casual atmo... read more

Make it nasty! Make it nasty! ....Yes, if you are walking down Bourbon street and need to satisfy your All American burger needs this is the place for you. Think vintage 50's diner with sweaty men running the grill:) Do not expect homemade burger patties folks (reasonably priced), but feel free to dress it up with bacon, eggs, avocado and whatever your little heart desires to pile up that burger. Oh and do not skip on the tater tots kids!
Good food, fast service, and friendly staff! I am from California and I ate here while in NOLA for the 2014 Essence Music Festival. I ordered the breakfast pork chops, eggs, and has brown potatoes. Excellent! I found this place while looking for the postal annex. Once they warm up to you, the staff is super friendly. I would definitely eat there during my next trip! Much love all the way from California.
Go See Fo Yo Self !!! – Was just in New Orleans on a vacation from 9/11 thru 9/16. This is my fourth trip to NOLA and I really had a great time. I love the city and the people. For weeks prior to my vacation I had been scouring the internet getting recommendations on what to do and see and EAT! Everything I had heard about THE CLOVER GRILL was "thumbs up".....so I had to go see! I AM GLAD I DID. My room mate and I made our 100th trip to Bourbon Street (LOL) It was late and we we're hungry so we ventured into the Clover Grill... read more
Worst Service in the City (from a local) – I'm a local, having moved back to the city after growing up here, going away to college, having a working life and career. Been back about six months. Live one and a half blocks away in the French Quarter. Usually went into Clover Grill once or twice a week for take out. Spent over $20 each time (for one). Just recently went back for a takeout for two. Sat up at the counter for 20 minutes while four staff ignored me. After reading the local free newspaper, I left, and will never ret... read more
Good food, good service – I loved this place. Just wanted a good burger that didnt break me. My husband & I stopped in & loved it. Our little waiter was great & the food was so good we went back the next morning for breakfast & that was great too. Ignor the bad reviews. Some people think they should get a 5 star restaurant for nothing. Not everyone will be happy with this. I saw several people get up & walk out when they realized colorful the place was. Stupid, ignorant people. Try it. You'll love it. Can't wait to go back.
We have sampled burgers all over this town and this is the best, by far
yummmmmmmmy – The folks down the street at HeadQuarters Hair Salon told us to go here for burgers and we loved it. It was great to go to New Orleans and get great , fun service at these 2 places and we went back for breakfast . they make the best breakfast around and for a very good price. I found the prices in New Orleans very cheap and the people friendly.
great burger and onion rings. 13 bucks with a coke a little pricey but worth it.I will return to try other things on the menu sooner than later.
Overrated – I'm with Harry! It would take magic to get this place back to it's former self. Years ago it was a good place to get some late night, or early morning, eats, but those days are gone. The service is rude and the food is lousy. They are definitely living off of past reputations. If you don't believe me, just go waste your money and find out for yourself.
