Went in today, hostess sat us in the WAY back and hubby is in a wheelchair and we had to ask customers to move. asked hostess for manager. Server cam over and ordered beverages and voiced complaint about how hard it was to get to table and would be worse after it got busier. we asked server for manager and he came right over. Hostess never spoke with manager. Manager really did not seem to care about the difficulties getting to table. We then asked to be moved and they complied. poor service. Seemed like staff was undertrained. Steak and shrimp not worth its price. Had better steak in a Taco Bell burrito.
The food is great but we noticed that there’s a lot of cobwebs and dust
It was our first time going there and we were excited to try a new restaurant. We walked in and stood there for about 5 minutes before the hostess finally acknowledged us. When we were finally seated, our server (the only good part of our visit) came over. We ordered our food and drinks which came out very quickly. I ordered the cajun chicken alfredo. Food is good, service is poor! Ate at Clives twice and had to clear our table of plates , drink glasses both times...Wait staff standing around chatting.
Every time we visit Clives we are greeted by Josh and his big smile, awesome Bartender! Super friendly staff and the food is excellent and reasonably priced. One of our favorite places to visit/eat South of the River!�
