My Air conditioner was tripping the circuit breaker. I called Cliff's on a recommendation from a friend. They came out and "checked the unit." They told me that I had a bad compressor and needed to replace the entire unit. I received a quote for $8900.00, which included a thermostat. I emailed back and asked them to remove the thermostat from the quote, because I have an awesome WiFi thermostat already. Well this call was pretty simple. The batteries in the thermostat had been put in incorrectly by my tenant and the AC would work. Usually I would address the problem personally to have an idea of the situation but I was in Boston. However, I called Cliffs before when the AC at my house was not working efficiently. The company that installed it did a poor job and for months I complained and they tried different things but it was not working correctly.
