The worst experience. He's very arrogant. Doesn't ask how you're feeling and truely, only cares about the $. I would not recommend him, especially if you have anxiety or great fear of the dentist.
Greedy, sly, unprofessional, cunning, rip off artist The ADA and the state the NY board should take his license away. He is greedy, and unethical! He manipulates you when you are in pain and he exploits you, by charging astronomical fees, if he senses you are not familiar with dental procedures and related costs! During my first visit, and while he, without a surgical mask, was checking my mouth at a very close range, out of the blue, he suggested and tried to push me to try Botox injections! implants were painless & successful. The veneers on my front teeth are beautiful. My former Park Ave. dentist was also impressed with how they looked. Dr. Degel changed the length slightly and that made all the difference. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Dr. Degel is a perfectionist and I am totally satisfied with his care.
Dr. Degel seems more like a salesman then a caring dentist. Products are always pushed at you.I found the office to be dirty. Some of the staff are friendly, others not. He seems self-assured but is also a bit aggressive. I did not like my experience there.
technique is all right but his attitude and chair-side manner leave much to be desired. He has a very aggressive demeanor, which is the opposite of what I want in a dentist. He is also expensive. Great hygienist though at his office
What I liked least about the office is the rather unkempt appearance of the facility. Staff satisfactory and dentist seemed very knowledgeable.
