Dr. Deal is an outstanding surgeon. He is caring, compassion and a very knowledgeable physician. He instills a sense of confidence in the way he responds to questions and concerns. He has high expectations of his staff and those that look after his patients. Highly recommended.
Throughout the entire process of pre-surgery and post, I have felt that Dr. Deal has been guiding me through the process of having a lumpectomy. He has been extremely patient, when I have asked questions , explained how my incision will look in a few months and what to do going forward. Without hesitation, I would highly recommend Dr. Deal to family or friends. He came very highly recommended to me from a very close friend. Dr. Deal performed surgery on her, due to breast Cancer.
To me Dr. Deal is a rare combination of a skilled surgeon and a real person. So many specialists only see a leg, breast or knee walk into the office; he understands that body part comes wrapped in a package of a real person with a name.
Dr. Deal is very positive and straight forward in his approach to my healthcare and remains diligent in keeping an eye on my health concerns, given my family history.
Dr. Deal performed my emergency surgery. He was friendly and positive, and he clearly explained what he would be doing (pre-surgery) and what he did (post-surgery). He informed me before the surgery that he had performed the surgery I needed a high number of times, and that was comforting.

I am a new patient, and could not have been more pleased. I found Dr. Deal to be warm, kind, straightforward and professional. He has all of the qualities that one could hope to find in a physician. I was feeling somewhat anxious about the surgery, but he put me at ease and dispelled my fears. I have complete confidence in him.
I can always count on Dr. Deal to give me a comforting and reassuring hug when I visit. Such a compassionate doc! Great bedside manner.
