Well personally I've only to the Cleveland mall Shelby Maybe twice in 2 yrs.Since Sears left, and if the rent for their space hadn't went up they'd Still be there.So I could name a few other stores that have left for the same reason.which is ridiculous. That Mall used to be.So full you couldn't Find a place to park.Look at it now the car's are all parked at the theater which it's where most of the only business is booming!!!Well personally I've seen and heard most folks go where the businesses are booming.Especially for our ... read more
Marshals is really the only attraction besides the movie theater here guys and gals. It's not a dead mall but people really don't shop the way they did in the 80's and 90's malls are unfortunately going south. I wish there would be a cooking and a pet store move in here. Couple that with no real department stop and no place to buy games and this equals a waste. Too bad the rent is too high for small stores to make it.

I'm not sure what mall some of these folks are speaking about...but Cleveland has a good mall for the size town we are in. There is nothing wrong with the parking lot?(as in a previous review) Also, the thing about the Salvation Army makes sense to me. My husband and I give to charity all year round. But having the bell ringers inside the mall is not a very positive thing. Perhaps outside the mall but not inside. And many malls are reinforcing similar restrictions. This Mall won't help the community but they want the community for their money. They shut down Salvation Army, free hug rally, and other events. I WILL NOT GO BACK EVER!!! I will take my money to the Big E in Gaffney, Gaffney Mall, Spartanburg Mall, and Gastonias Mall. Never Cleveland Mall!
Mall is poorly maintained, parking lot is like a third world country. Tenants are leaving like crazy. The mall used to be a valuable part of the community, not anymore. If it's still open in five years I'll be surprised.
