It was very good I tell people about and tell to try them out
It was horrible. The service was slow and the food was not good. My first and Last time there.
My sister and I went here yesterday. She got a croissant and I got bacon and eggs. I asked for my eggs cooked over hard, my bacon cooked light, and my toast to be cooked extra with no butter. When the food came out everything looked great except for when I cut into my eggs. They were super runny. I couldn't eat them. I was trying to just deal with it when my server came over and asked if everything was ok. My sister spoke up and said no my eggs were way under cooked. We had breakfast there this morning....excellent service and food.
I waited 40 minutes for my food. It finally came and the fries looked overcooked. There were probably 7 to 8 tables while I was there. I walked out after letting the waiter know I was not happy. I did send cleavers a message, they said they would look into it.
I run by occasionally when I am on the East side (we live on the West side) to pick up take home food. Have never been disappointed. Have tried the tenderloin, Chicago hot dog, reuben, gyro, Italian beef (dipped w/hot giardiniera mix) sandwiches. Wonderful! Often make two meals out of each order. Salads are excellent too! (Went to school in Chicago many years ago, so this place holds some nostalgia for me...authentic Italian beef and dogs!)
I am not one to leave reviews but this was the best experience we have had in a long time. To start the staff was friendly and great with my daughter. The food was delicious and fairly priced. They have something for everyone so no need to worry about the picky eaters. This place is a must try for those who haven't tried yet. Thank you for the good food!
My favorite lunch spot. We have been several times, yet to be dissapointed.
