Mark H Went into the emergency room with severe chest pains. Two hours waiting before having chest X-Rays performed. Never did blood work or EKG. After the third hour I walked out extremely frustrated from lack of care. They billed my insurance for work never performed and keep billing me for unpaid insurance balance. This is the most terrible experience that I have ever had in a hospital. Go anywhere but here. The admitting physician was barely coherent but the nurses were just excellent and apologetic. Spent 14 hours in the "hall" of the emergency room, arrived at 8:30 AM and finally at 10:30 PM dressed to leave. After dismissal, still do not have medication after 24 hours of waiting. What a horrible excuse for a hospital.
My father was admitted on a Wednesday evening... the ER ran several tests and said he needed to be admitted... he was there all day Thursday all day Friday never once saw doctor... the day nurse on Thursday clearly did not like her job... I had to ask for his vitals to be checked she said they get checked every 4 hours I replied it's been six.... this happened all day long. When we complained and said we'd like to check out we'll have to get a hold of a doctor to release him.... that never happened so at 4 o'clock on Friday... read more
The Lamaze teacher Leticia is great she prepares you for everything before having a baby. I highly recommend taking her class. We did the 4 week class and it was great! Hope she's my L&D nurse as well.
My father was admitted to ER with all the symptoms of a blood clot. Swollen arm, pain, turning red, etc. The Doctor LADY nguyen told me and my sister who both work in mediCal field and knew it was a blood clot. We demanded tests and she told us it was absolutely not a blood clot. We are now in the Houston medical center 5 days later after his whole entire left size of chest is swollen.
