I was hit by a driver in February 2014 he admitted fault and his insurance company offered to pay full price for all repairs. Due to this, I decided to choose the very best mechanic shop and I did not care about how much it would cost. I chose Clear Lake Body Shop because I thought they would do a good job however, I will NEVER return to this shop again. Didnt do what they were suppose to do. I feel ripped off. Not satisfied at all. Car still is all scratched up even though the insurance co paid to have it detailed they said it wasnt in the order.I paid the $500.00 deductable for nothing. A 5yr old could have done better.

Perfection, they are not. Ability to keep the customer informed is low class. I used them twice.. Sorry, but will not be a third time. When they say a days work, count on a week.. Two weeks, count on a month.. Really.. One days service and it's still not done three days later. I've had to call them to get a update on what's going on. The first time I ever took my auto in, the alignment still is not right , And i have a door seal leak that was not there before. I would rather they take more time for perfection.. Right after Hurricane Ike, I wrecked my new Honda Ridgeline. It sustained $14,000+ in damages. Clear Lake repaired all the damage beautifully. A couple of months later one of my headlights started blinking intermittently. The lamp receptacle had been cracked in the crash. I took it to theHonda dealer who wanted $800 plus labor to replace the front wiring harness. I took it back to Clear Creek and they fixed it in half an hour, FOR NOTHING! I had a WONDERFUL experience with the body shop! I was on the highway and was hit by a very large peice of plank wood that did a little number on the bumper of my car. I had been DREADING dealing with it because of how high my insurance deductible is. I was referred to Clear Lake Body Shop through Clear Lake Honda where I took my car for an oil change. Great services with right hearts!! – I have a wonderful first experience with Clear Lake Body Shop. I scratched my brand new car only after 2 days of purchase. Last Monday, I desperately came here to fix it. It took the manager (Charlie) 2 seconds to decide that he will have it fixed for me FOR FREE. They did a wonderful job, I have my baby back, looking brand-new again with sweet memories engraved. I definitely will come back when I need any help on my new car. Strongly recommend Clear Lake Body Shop!

Honest and reputable. – I originally went to this shop on word of mouth from a co-worker and on my way to pick up my rental from Enterprise the employee there vouched for the shop as well. Long story short, Clear Lake Body Shop lives up to their reputation. I had to use them twice last year for two separate accidents on the same vehicle, and both times they did a stand up job on my car. GOOD JOB – I HAD READ SOME BAD REVIEWS OF THIS SHOP, BUT WE HAD OUR CAR TAKEN THERE ANYWAY. I HAVE BEEN IN THE AUTO SERVICE FOR OVER THIRTY YEARS. I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH WHAT THEY DID. HER CAR WAS HIT HARD ON THE RIGHT SIDE. I LOOKED AT IT VERY CLOSE. I COULD NOT FIND ANYTHING TO SHOW WHAT HAD HAPPENED TO IT. AND ANGEL WAS SO HELPFUL AND PLEASANT THE WHOLE TIME THE CAR WAS THERE. I HAVE NOTHING BAD TO SAY ABOUT THIS SHOP.

Steer Clear of this one – Rob Dellinger flat out told me to pick up my car if I was unhappy with what I was being told. I got two different messages from them. It will take a week and it will take 2 weeks, then I got told THEY had decided not to replace a part but to repair it. This is a cash repair so I want a new Honda part not body filler.
