I'm in a rental and the carpets are not in good shape. I accept this. But Clean 4 Clean was hired to get the ex-tenants car smell out, not perform miracles. I wasn't looking for anything beyond smell-free carpets. Instead I got sticky, disgusting carpets, attitude of the service technician, and the privilege of rescheduling and taking time off from work three times. I wish I had seen the reviews before calling these people. "Bait and switch" is an apt description that one reviewer posted. They have a slick website and an attractive coupon. Their actual quote is quite different. Here is my experience: I have a decent carpet and I don't have pets or small kids. Except few high traffic areas the carpet is in good condition. Made my Dryer finally work!! – My dryer had not been drying sufficiently so I thought it needed maintenance. I called out the appliance crew and they told me my dryer duct was clogged up with lint. I did an online search for dryer vent cleaning and found Clean 4 Clean. They came out and cleaned it from the inside of the house and at the exterior in the back to ensure the lint was completely removed. So much easier that i thought!!! – The air flow from my ducts was very low when I started to run my system again, and I even detected a slight odor. I noticed Clean 4 Clean had a free furnace and video inspection included with their initial air duct servicing for like $80. When they came out, we discovered I had a dead mouse in the ducts thanks to the video inspection. They removed it safely and quickly, but assured me I’d still have a lingering odor. Great cleaning service!!! – I get my carpets cleaned a lot and this time I wanted to try one of these companies that I always see with very cheap prices. I have always heard that all these companies are too good to be true and I should stay away. Against my better judgment I called a few of these companies and I landed on Clean 4 Clean. you be the judge – disclaimer: I don't write internet review often, this is probably my 2nd one ever, and i am trying to be impartial. pros: 1. The technician called the day before to confirm the appointment, and on the day, called 1/2 hour before. 2. Good job! – My carpets needed to be cleaned. After the holidays they were completely dirty, stain and spots everywhere! I called Clean4Clean because of the green influence. I really liked that! Once the tech arrived he informed me that one of the rooms would benefit from the process called a deep scrub (I was told about this on the phone) I chose to do it in the living room where all the stains were, for an additional $30. Worst Service Ever Received From A Service Provider – Below is a list of everything we experienced with the company. Good luck and hopefully you won't make the same mistake as us. Our experience: 1. Walked around the house with wet shoes 2. Dust went everywhere 3. They banged our wall with their machine 4. They did not clean up 5. They did not bring a step ladder to access the ducts 6. NOT clean & NOT honest – I scheduled Clean4Clean to come out and give a quote for cleaning my air ducts and dryer vent. After an inspection of the house and an inventory of the ventilation system the technician quoted $275 to do the job and asked if I would also like to have the interior air passages treated with a sanitizer (which kills mold, bacteria, etc.) for $175.
