Going to the Dentist is not my favorite thing to do, but I do enjoy visiting with the girls and of course Dr. Smith!!
This has got to be one of the kindest doctors I have ever met. Not once, but twice I have been in an emergency situation and he took care of me and never seemed to mind. The best thing, he treated me as if I was one of his patients for many years. His staff is also the best. They were kind and helpful in every way possible. Wilmington is my "home", but I live in OH right now. If I were there, without a doubt, Dr. Smith would be my dentist!!! Thank you for your help and kindness. God Bless!
I have been going to Dr. Smith for years and love the service I receive. Everyone is pleasant and friendly. Can't stand pain and they really work to see to my comfort. As long as he is in practice, I don't plan on looking for for another dentist. I recommend him to people looking for a dentist.

My regular dentist was out of town, and I needed a tooth pulled and a replacement tooth aded to my partial. With no prior appointment, the staff at Ben Smith's office fit me in and Ben pulled the tooth & installed the partial. It was quick and painless, and I was treated well by all the staff & Dr Smith. While waiting for the anesthesia to numb the tooth, I was entertained by at least 8 different varieties of birds including a piloted woodpecker through the giant viewing window which overlooked the garden. I am so appreciative of Robin & Peggy who squeezed me into a cancelled appointment and spared me an early morning appointment two days later. As usual, the work that Dr. Smith did was exceptional. My front tooth, which lost a long-time filling, now looks perfect. The filling color is a perfect match, and Dr. Smith even polished it to make it look that much better.
All is well with the repaired tooth. Thanks again for the good work. Go Tar Heels & Seahawks!
