There is a picture that I drew when I was in first grade of a doctor. It now hangs on my wall at home. It is a stereotypical picture of a physician with a head mirror and stethoscope. My mother framed it and gave it to me during my first year in medical school. She reminded me of what I wanted to be since I was a little boy. However, when I was a young adult I thought that I would be a scientist and a teacher. After doing research and teaching for years, I decided that I wanted to help people by combining teaching, science a... read more

Everyone was so nice to me made me feel so comfortable. I highly recommend this crew and the doctor super good people.
Dr. Cauthens is a great doctor. He cares about his patients.
Dr. Cauthen is an extraordinarily knowledgeable and skillful practitioner. Even so, he is never condescending and listens carefully to my comments and observations. Dr. Cauthen does not over treat. Although he is very thorough, he always opts for the least invasive treatment for the most likely condition consistent with the symptoms. Sometimes it is as simple as exercise more or drink more water. I trust Dr. Cauthen completely.
Clay began being my cardiologist when I was in the hospital. He has been nothing but caring, attentive, kind, and friendly. He is so extremely competent. I cannot begin to say how many good things there are about him.

In the end we got it figured out and he made sure he and his staff took the best care of me. In my humble opinion part of every doctors orientation or start day should have to spend a day with thi... read more

Kind and easy to talk to. Great Doctor. Always cares for patient and family.
Clay Cauthen is the most remarkable doctor I have ever known. At my darkest hour, this wonderful human being entered my life and not only saved it, he gave me complete hope for my future. He is kind, funny and absolutely amazing at what he does! They don't come any better than this!
