I have been bringing my pit/lab in for the past couple years for bathing and grooming and because he was once a rescue pup he has fear issues one being he hates bathes. He's a big boy so he can be very difficult like trying to escape etc... Karen & Megan and the rest of the team have always gone above and beyond to make him feel safe and secure . I have had many quality bath, cut and nail trims at this location. My small pup used to get very nervous going to have her hair done. Now when we pull up she is ecstatic! We call it her special spa day. Megan is fast and thorough when clipping my dog. She is always willing to give me advise about how to keep her white coat clean and tidy on our many outdoor adventures. I've only had positive experiences at Claws-N-Paws.
Had the worse experience here. My poor puppers!!! First we get there over an hour early and no one was there. I called and emailed and no one answered. No way to contact anyone! As we sit outside talking we can hear her whining and crying. When they got there it took her awhile to get her out of the kennel or where ever they had her locked up at. To Shannon Eerkes-Lester sorry you feel that way. Your dog was very well taken care of. She was playing all day in my shop with plenty of water. Because you made arrangement to pick her up after hours we do not let them run loose after hours we put her in a big roomy kennel with blankets and plenty of water. my hour are 8:00 to 5:00 so I told you we could make arrangements to pick your dog up after hours so you said 7:00 pm was fine and I was there at 6:45.
Claws and paws is the best! I wouldn't take my fur babies anywhere else. Karen and her staff do amazing work!
Took my kitty in for his haircut. First time at this place. Following an awful experience, we found Carol's in West Salem and for years loved her. Upon her retirement she recommended Claws-n-Paws, and I am so happy! The entire experience was amazing. They were quick and gentle. You can tell they love animals. My kitty loved the lady that cut his hair. Thank you so much! We will be seeing you guys every 6 months!

The first time I went to Claws-Paws it was an ordinary experience, cat was taken care of and his cut looked nice. Well I just returned from claws-paws. Picked up my Persian (who was cut a month ago) who had a bath and was told it was $65!! For a bath?! I asked the first time I went how much it would be and I was told $20. Didn't think to double check since it seemed to be a reputable business and it was the same person as last time. When I heard that I was flabbergasted. $65?!
