DO NOT RECOMMEND! I had a introductory visit with Claudine Kasinak 3/7/24 to talk about my fertility options as I was having a hard time getting pregnant. Dr. Kasinak asked me a total of 3-4 questions (the generic How old when you had your first period? Are your periods regular? How long have you been trying), and that was the extent of the visit. Dr Kasinak has been my dr for over 10 years and has performed two surgeries on me.My last appointment with her was so rushed. She was running late and decided to make up for lost time by treating me like I didn't matter. What used to take max 1 hour dr. visit took over 4 hours. I was left in the room undressed for over an hour. Getting my bloodwork drawn was down the hall which added another hour to my visit. Awful! Insensitive, cold, strangely detached and lacking interpersonal skills for a medical professional treating women. I've been a Womancare patient for 35 years. She didn't bother to look at my records, history, medications. Responded to my 2 questions in a dismissive, annoyed manner. I requested she wear a mask because I am immunocompromised to due a chronic illness and damage to my immune system. She wore a gaping surgical mask 'below her nose'! I saw Dr. Kasinak about pelvic pain, and she listened to my symptoms and gave me a careful exam. I had a separate issue that I brought up, and she gave me some very helpful info and was truly empathetic. I felt so comfortable and would gladly see her again. I’m surprised to see so many negative reviews! Maybe she really took the feedback to heart, because that was not my experience at all.
I thought this doctor was great. She listened to me and didn't make me feel rushed and answered all my questions. Would recommend!
I went in for birth control and a yearly exam. She did not have one recommendation on a birth control pill (HOW?!), and missed three fibroids over ten inches in diameter each. This was detected three weeks later when I went to a doctor who actually exhibited common decency and core competency with his job.
Like many others on here, worst doctor experience I have ever had. I am overweight, and a lot of times shame and fear of judgment keep me from going to the doctor. Dr. Kasinak affirmed all of that. I felt incredibly judged for a desire to have kids and like she had no patience (or hope) for me as a patient. Completely demoralizing. Terrible doctor. Brought up issues I was having with pain and she provided no help. Just offered yoga and exercise as a solution. I’ve had plenty of visits with her and left feeling pissed off every time. She doesn’t care about what you have to say. She also told me the only way to know 100% if I had endometriosis was if she did an operation. Which in my case, she didn’t want to do because I’m “too young.”
I really like her. Dr. Kasinak performed surgery on me twice. In both cases it was urgent and upsetting for me and my husband. she was very caring, took her time with me and made me feel comfortable with what to expect before and after the procedures. I trust her treatment and her approach. I consider her a trusted friend after all we've been through under her care.
