I was extremely pleased with my experience at Classic Toyota in Waukegan. I found the prices for the new Corollas were the best around. I also found the customer service to be very positive from beginning to end. From Jasmine, who "chatted" with me when I first began checking out their website and then helped me set up an appointment to come see some cars, to Jesse Torres who was my sales associate and gave me a lot of time and genuine helpful service. They were very accommodating and made the experience of buying a great new car very enjoyable. I'd highly recommend Classic Toyota, and especially Jesse!

I brought my brand-new car (less than 1400 miles) in with a check engine light on, spoke with two different service techs. They blamed me for causing the check engine light then refused to hook it up to diagnose the problem without charging me a $150 fee. They were rude accusatory and unprofessional. They also told me if I did not like it then I can take it to the dealer I bought the car from. I did take it to the dealer I bought it from and there was indeed a problem with a valve that needed to be replaced. The dealer I bought my car from also that this is unacceptable, and they should not be charging a fee for a brand-new car under warranty. I wish I could give the Waukegan Toyota service department negative stars. If you have any problems with your car, go see the Kenosha dealership they were pleasant and helpful.

BEWARE !!! Classic Toyota/Scion - N Grrenbay Rd, Waukegan Classic Toyota/Scion - N Grrenbay Rd,...‎ By Aashish - Dec 22, 2009 I went to Classic Toyota - Waukegan IL today Dec 22 2009 & felt like I made a big mistake. Was looking for a used 2005,06 or 07 Toyota Camry. Met Jo as the sales person. As soon as I started the engine of the CAR & pressed the gas to check the emission, noise & engine under the hood, the sales guy Jo wasn't too happy about it and turned the engine off as if he was hiding something or trying to avoid if we can figure out a problem. As soon as I told my budget, he said WE ARE DONE, banged the hood down & took the CAR away. Did not even say, that he can show us other cars or give us any options. Please DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY on Classic Toyota/Scion - N Grrenbay Rd, Waukegan IL. Highly cheap, ill mannered & pathetic customer service. Lucky I didn't buy the CAR & got to know them early. Please spread the word & I will ensure no one from my group/network ever does business with them.‎
