Classic restored my 1972 Mercedes Benz. It was not an easy restoration as it had a lot of rust. Mel was an unbelievable fountain of knowledge that is unparalleled in this industry. The car came out great and Mercedes Benz even used it in one of their commercials as it was such a beautiful car. I have nothing but positive things to say about Classic and Mel. It is unfortunate that the Internet is usually used to make losers feel better abouth themselves and their miserable lives. I am happy to post my experiences with Classic... read more

I too have had dealings with Classic and Melvin. All positive. He absolutely knows his business and how to restore these old cars. These negative posters obviously have no life and deserve what is coming to them. Classic is an excellent place to do business and is the only place to get your classic vehicle restored properly if that is what you are looking for.

Really a real mess here. I know personally that this is all nothing more than people who refuse to take responsibility for their decisions. Classic has resorted to utilizing law enforcement to investigate the head perpetrator and other characters involved in a conspiracy to slander and libel Classic whose backgrounds all have been revealed to be of questionable character. These are the stories you can choose to believe but as mentioned so many times here, call Classic and see the truth as these people only have crazy theorie... read more

These postings make me sick and it just shows how f-d up people are. Truly cowardly and unwillingly to listen to the other side of the story shows mental instability. My 1959 Cadillac convertible was restored by Classic and is an awesome car. I am sure there is not a business that hasn't had customers that could not ever be pleased but to resort to this low life means of trying to take away someone's income and livelihood for no other reason than jealousy and the inability to accept responsibility for their own decisions is ... read more

Looks like the old joke when you see 2 people arguing it is difficult to tell which one is the idiot. It is so obvious the people saying these negative things are not real. A hero? Really lame. As if you need a hero for a shop if you feel you have been dealt a wrong deal. With the DMV and today's legal climate do you really need a hero? Absolute balderdash. I have had my 1963 Pontiac restored by Classic and it is spectacular in every way. That is all that matters. Grow up.

I have read these reviews and called Classic about them. I have heard many good things about them for many years. I am a former customer and have had very good relations with them and in the past. I am contemplating another restoration and in my research ran across these reviews. I spoke to Mel and he relayed to me that these reviews are the work of a single person that managed to poison a couple of additional customers that he had met over the course of visiting during his car being restoration. This particular individual i... read more

I am a current and past customer of Classic. These reviews are unbelievable and make Classic, and most importantly, Mel look as though he is a thug. How is that possible? They have been in business for over 20 years and have restored 1000's of cars in that time period. Is it possible that a business that deals with public people could have made some people upset? Yes, anyone who is in business would understand this. But to discredit this niche business in this manner is reprehensible. The architect of this plan to ruin Class... read more

I have known and been a customer of Classic for many years starting with the restoration of my 1949 Ford and going forward with maintaining it throughout the years. Melvin is a smart guy and knows his business in and out and is a recognized expert in this field. These olds cars require someone with knowledge of how these cars operate and where to locate parts and what needs to be done. My car has always worked well and I tend to over maintain it as I have a fear of it breaking down as these cars are known to do. While I woul... read more

I have met Mel and his staff many times over the course of having my 1965 Pontiac restored by them. Did my car have hidden problems? Yes. We're they fixed properly? yes. Was it cheap? No. Has my car held up over the past couple of years? Yes. It still wins shows, still drives excellent and barely shows the 18,000 miles I have put on it here in Florida. Did I spend more on it than it is worth in a book? Yes. Was it worth it? Absolutely! I absolutely love this car and realize that quality is not something one can put a price o... read more
