I am a past customer and also a current customer of Classic. I have had Classic restore 5 vehicles for me in the past over the last 12 years and have my Mustang being restored currently. I am well versed in the restoration process, not just from my experience with Melvin but before I found Classic I had been the victim of a few bad shops. The problems I encountered with the prior shops run the gamut from shoddy workmanship, taking money and not doing the work to just plain incompetence. I have never had any sort of issues wi... read more
Great place to visit, friendly and knowledgeable staff and walking around this giant shop just shows you their commitment to quality and work is actually being done. Every time I visit my car it is refreshing to see that not only my car progresses as does other peoples cars. I have been victimized by bad shops previously so I know when something stinks. There is not a problem in this shop nor with the employees or the owner, the problem is that there are many unreasonable people out there and when they get in over their head... read more
My 1931 Cadillac was restored by Classic. It was a difficult restoration for obvious reasons and came out beautifully. It has earned an AACA Senior Award and countless other shows and has actually been quite reliable. The quality is spectacular, some parts had to be fabricated. That takes a quality shop with knowledge and expertise. No regular shop is capable. This place does the right job and charges for it. That is expected. After all, it is YOUR car, not theirs. My Cadillac is what I expected and what I got. I am happy an... read more
Melin and Classic restored my 1957 Chevy pickup. Best job. I have had many dealings with him and know these lies people are saying are just that. Lies. Shame on you and your mothers!
I had Classic Restoration restore my 1965 Maserati Ghibli a couple of years ago. What a difficult car this is to work on! Classic certainly made it a lot easier as I had tried to do the restoration myself over the course of many years but between having a day job and finally realizing that I really did not have the skill set necessary to restore this great car properly, I brought my poor Maserati to them in boxes. They put Humpty Dumpty back together again! Some parts were not available here in the US. Mel went on vacation t... read more
Mel and Classic built me a 33 Ford 5 window coupe street rod. The car of my dreams. Mel is an absolute wizard with picking out classy color schemes and then tweaking the colors a bit further. I have a drop dead black cherry 33 Ford with a 350 fuel injected V8 and a whole host of mods and I drive it as much as I can! Great job, great photos, great follow through and spectacular quality. Simply the best!
I had my 65 Thunderbird convertible restored by Classic. Great job, great car and I am so happy with it. I would bring them additional work anytime and know that it will be done correctly and safely. These reviews are not knowing of Classic or Mel.
I have had my 1969 Camaro Z28 restored by Classic. Outstanding restoration, this car drives better than I thought it would and kills at shows. The process (restoration) is a difficult one to go through, especially if this is your first rodeo. This was mine and Melvin took the time both in person and through emails to walk me through. If you cannot or do not want to understand the restoration process then you will fool yourself and set yourself up for disappointment at a minimum. This is not unlike restoring an old home. Thes... read more
