Crystal Lake Automotive did it again! I nominated an individual to Crystal Lake Cares. Through a very generous donation of time, talent and materials, Crystal Lake Care replaced and repaired the car. This individual has one less barrier to sustained employment. Crystal Lake Automotive is an asset to the community. A top notch professional business that "gives back!" Special thanks to Mike Batton!
The work was fine and people were friendly enough, but after our insurance refused payment for some of the work needed, we were on the hook for a small balance. We were obviously frustrated, but our frustration was with our insurance company, not the shop. At least it was, until Crystal Lake Automotive refused to let us pay via debit/credit card, claiming they "have been burned in the past" with people cancelling checks or disputing payments.
