It is hard to find a good Italian market outside of Italy or New York but Claro's is a gem. They sell everything Italian, from sausage and meats to all the cheeses (buffalo mozzarrella, provolone, ricotta, mascarpone). They sell some great dried pastas in unusual shapes and canned sauces. Wow!!! Fantastic quality! Nothing like regular grocery markets!!! We don't live near any of the locations but will definitely make the hour long trip for this genuine Italian market! Spaghetti and lasagna never tasted so good, truly need these quality ingredients!
When I walk through the door, I feel like I'm back home (on the east coast)! Love , love , love this place! The only true Italian market I've found in so.cal.!

Definitely try their sausages I stop by Claro's everytime I come home to LA. It's got Italian chocolates you can't find anywhere else (or at least, they're really hard to find elsewhere). Their cake slices and pastries are also delicious. They've got typical Italian cakes such as tiramisu (fresh or frozen) and rum baba. The cakes make my mouth water. They've got interesting frozen pizzas (don't remember what toppings).
Definitely Stands Apart from the Rest Definitely a spot I stop by whenever visiting home in L.A.. This market has been around for decades! They have many gourmet Italian/Greek/other food products, and every once in a while I'll pick up a 5-pound bag of Italian sausages. The service at the counter is really friendly, and most of the pastries I've tried are amazing! Definitely a place to go if you're looking for ingredients for your Italian cooking!

Great Wonderful authentic Italian deli. The baked goods are made fresh daily right in the store. They are excellent. The large sandwiches are great for parties. The cold cuts and cheeses are wonderful.
Ive been going to this store since as long as I can remember. They have everything Italian you could possibly imagine and even saw dust on the floor! They have unbelieveably great prices and a really great selection. I go during lunch a couple of times a week to have them specially make me a sub sandwich...Subway cant touch it!
