I have had several orthopedic surgeries in my life, this was my first at a surgery center, and I was very impressed. Much cleaner then a hospital, they are focused professionals who don’t get distracted as it sometimes feels in the hospital. Dr Matthew Marquart operated on my ankle, he was the most professional surgeon I have had start to finish. Not that this is a realistic outcome for all but I am One week after still no pain!
I came into Clarkston Surgical Center for a colonoscopy on 3/12/2025. The entire staff was incredible! Even though it was 6:00 AM everyone was so patient and kind and incredibly thorough. I most particularly want to compliment Sammy, who went through all pre-op with me. When I explained to her that I sometimes pass out during IVs or blood draws she made sure that she was prepared for that and administered an IV so expertly that it was a complete non-event (which for me is something!).
