Over last week end Kalie, our Spider Monkey, got very ill and by Monday I thought we might lose her. No other vets in the area could see her even though it was an emergency. Dr. Douglas Pernikoff at Clarkson Wilson veterinary clinic was willing to see her right away. He did a full work up, x-rays, bloodwork and such. He he had to drain some fluid from her abdomen to make her more comfortable. He gave her an IV cath and multiple medications to treat what looks like pancreatitis. Dr Pernikoff and Dr Pam are as genuine as they come. In a field where endless online information exists, it is refreshing to find a Veterinary practice that is as pragmatic as they are. They listen versus dumping endless info on you and simply getting more confused. I have taken my German Shepherd to several practices around town, and found working with Clarkson Wilson Vet Clinic to be like family. Dr. Doug and all of his staff are amazing & genuinely care for all pets that walk into the clinic!!! We enjoy seeing Dr. Doug and he makes time to answer all of our questions before we leave.
I love this vet! My family has been using them for years. And now that I am an owner of my own. I am forever in debt to them for saving my baby. I wouldn't think to ever go anywhere else.
Wow... Dr. Doug...what an Amazing Veterinarian!! Went there today for the 1st time and I will be bringing all of my babies there from here on out!! He is hands down the best Vet I have ever met. Took his time today and explained in great detail to my daughter on what do to help her bearded dragon who has been sick. Went above and beyond. The entire staff was awesome. Highly recommend Clarkson-Wilson Veteriary Clinic!! Thank You for truly caring!!
Thank you to Dr. Pernikoff and his staff for handling the birth of my alpaca. Baby was "stuck" and Dr. Doug saved the life of both mama and cria.
