Hard to find good places to stop on 95 when driving N-S. This was a good one and we’ll come back again. Comfortable king bed. Good local food restaurant with cozy atmosphere. Charming little gift shop. Nearby state park with walking trails. Lots of golfing-fishing groups. We may come back and stay a day to fish.
Very friendly staff. Room was cozy and cute. Walls very thin. Heard next doors phone conversation when I was trying to sleep.

We typically stop at Clark’s when driving north or south. The fried green tomatoes are very good! Today I mistakenly ordered the low country appetizer combo....My whole plate was cold. The chicken livers were overdone & very dry! Not prepared the way I would have thought & blame myself for not reading the description. Hubby’s fried chicken was dry, the French fries had some type of coating that he didn’t like...Cole slaw was dry, needed more mayo, sugar & pepper. What a great hotel to relax and enjoy after driving 13 hours. It’s really cute, quaint, has a really great gift shop and restaurant too. I would definitely recommend and I will be here every year on the way back from Florida to New Jersey
Love to eat there. Good seafood. Must check out the gift shop. They have unusual gifts. Purchased a lamp the last time I stopped by on the way to Summerville.
We came from Summerville for Sunday lunch and the food was awesome! The waitress was attentive and we will definitely come back!
We stop to eat here eaxh trip to Florida! Food is excellent southern style cooking. Beautiful warm atmosphere. Super friendly service and great gift shop! Server Bob us awesome- super helpful and attentive! You MUST try the Lowcountry Relaxer cocktail!
