I just visited clarion yesterday for the first time and honestly I have a tough choice. I thought I wanted to go to Shippensburg, but now since I've been in and around clarion it has everything I wanted and more. Clarion has wonderful staff , students and a great community. Anyone who is looking at this college, I definitely recommend going to the university itself and experiencing what it's actually like.
Class of '95 (I graduated HS in '87 and worked a while), picked Clarion, great school, good education, small classes, caring faculty, awesome students. Affordable in tuition and in cost of living on and off campus (at least 20+ yrs ago). Safe. One of the best investments and times of my life. Received my Computer Science BS. Best money ever spent. So far paid for itself 100x over. I still recommend Clarion to anyone who will listen. Will have to take a trip up from the big city (da Burgh) soon. Love it.
I have studied in different places around the world but the Clarion University is the best ever.
Some of the most enduring memories of my life were made during my time at Clarion. I received a solid education that allowed me to realize so many of my personal and professional dreams. I turned my degree in communications into a 30 year career in broadcast journalism. I've travelled the world and rubbed elbows with the famous and powerful. More importantly, I believe I've had some positive impact on those I met and the world in general. It all began at Clarion
Admissions set the pace and atmosphere. Was impressed with the attention to what my son needed and that was an awesome and important interaction to me. Students were both helpful and courteous. My and I loved it and finally my son loved it. That's all that matters.
Disgusting what the pro abortionists did. They should be caught and expelled. If this is the kind of tolerance shown at this school...I for one will not direct any student that way, in fact, I will do everything possible to deter them.
