Staff was nice and I was allowed early check-in. However the rooms and property was not kept up. The shower glass had so much residue that I went and purchased a cleaner from the store. There was a foul smell in the hallway of the floor. And the floors are thin. The guests in the upper floor made so much noise and each step they took sounded like pounding above my head. Also the complimentary lotion was half used.
We booked here for a FSU game. The location for that was nice and there are restaurants and stores nearby. That’s about where it ends well. We paid almost $300 a night (non game days its about $52) Obviously you pay more game weekends, but this place was awful. The smell of mold and mildew is what welcomes you to your room. NO!!!!!!! ice machine!! Supposedly “broken”! Only ONE ice machine on THREE floors?!?? Last hotel that had a broken ice machine had an agreement with nearby convenient store to give me a bag of ice. I had a DO NOT DISTURB sign CLEARLY!!!!! displayed on my room door!!! and maid is POUNDING on my door at 9:15!!!!! 😡😡😡😡
100 precent terrible. Do NOT GO, stay far far away from, very unsafe and dangerous. Please take my word for it, i only write reviews to help people stay safe. Run
This is a hotel for those who appreciate quirky and funky. Only demerit is no coffee maker in the room. But real brewed coffee, not that crap that mixes in the machine. A part of the Choice Hotel family. Too bad there less than a dozen.
