Clarion Inn is a very comfortable & peaceful hotel! The receptionists are very nice & professional! The beds are so comfortable, the hotel is very clean, & all the amenities are accessible! I'm really enjoying my stay here!
Update: Changing my review to a one star. Do NOT stay here. The front desk was extremely unhelpful and not communicative. We got maybe 2 hours of sleep while we stayed at this horrible hotel because their smoke detectors were going off. When we went downstairs to the lobby there was NO communication. In the morning the manager ASSURED us that we would be getting a refund through Expedia. We left because of how disgusting the hotel was and didn’t want to risk another sleepless night. I called 4 times got hung up on now I'm headed down there cause who you hanging up on room was ok but whoever the lady is in the front on 06/27/2025 I keep calling from 1 to 1.30pm and she keeps hanging up just because my number starts with 434 which I am from Virginia don't mean I'm not around the corner come here to start my job and this the bs im getting. Not cool at all. Room was good but hallway stinks
I’ve only been here for twelve hours and I’m already at a 2. We weren’t allowed to get into our room for half an hour after check in. The staff told us this is a normal occurrence, as if that’s supposed to make us feel better. As we were waiting a guest and employee were talking about how last their lobby and rooms reeked. Now we’re awake in this shitty, hot lobby at 3am because our smoke alarm is chirping. There are others here too. In the lobby their system is making a long continuous noise. We paid $100 a night. Great value. No elevator. Free parking & about 45 mins drive to downtown Chicago during rush hour traffic
