Very friendly owners.. Well kept rooms and parking lot. I thought about not giving 5 stars because it is an older hotel, but I'm giving it 5 because not everything needs to be torn down and rebuilt. But we enjoyed staying here while buying a house in Vermont.. They do offer breakfast and WiFi and they also have a kitchenette in one of the rooms.. Would definitely stay again if needed

The Claremont Motor Lodge is quite a modest place to stay. Because it is near a stream it does have a bit of mildew smell that is fine after airing out the room for ten minutes or so. The room was quite clean. It had a micro wave and fridge. The beds were comfortable though no down pillows or coverlets. The managers were quite nice. The place filled up on the night we were there. The outside will look better when siding covers the pink weather proofing sheeting.

If you want the luxury of a five star hotel this is not for you. But if you want a clean place to stay for a few days we can recommend the Claremont Motor Lodge.

Six of us went skiing in Sunnapee and had to stay here because everything else was fully booked. Turned out great. The place had the basics, everything we needed and was great value for money because it was far less expensive than anything else. Short drive to the mountain was well worth it. Friendly manager included.
