My family loves all the homemade goodies, and not being a donut fan I love all the other options available!

Great food & people! Although we usually stop in Clare going to and returning from the UP during the summer, we decided to spend the weekend there, staying as usual at the Doherty Hotel!

Tried the fried cinnamon rolls and long johns (again) this morning hoping for a change. We couldn't eat them! The rolls (and frosting) were HARD and definitely not freshly made! C & D need to make some changes! We're tired of wasting our money!
Food was excellent and the staff well trained We were treated very well and everybody was very helpful

I love there donuts and rolls. But there PIES are a over priced joke. They should let you post pics on here, so everyone could see what they call a pie. Thank you for ruining the dessert part of our Thanksgiving dinner.
