He performed an ACDF on me and I had immediate pain relief. He is patient with explanations. He is a good person as well.
I will be referred by him to another neurologist for evaluation. He was exceptionally professional and put me at ease right away. He took time to explain what had happened to my back even though he personally could not help me in that regards. His staff was and the one nurse I spoke with were exceptionally courteous, helpful and reassuring. I recommend them in a heart beat.
I had an emergency injury. Thank the Lord Dr. Clapp was on call. I can walk again. Outstanding doctor. Truly blessed.
Excellent surgeon/phys. He performed a minimally invasive surgical procedure on a large bone-spur in my lower back. This had been seen by many docs using 1 surgery and many injections of cortisone. None truly worked to relieve my 25-years of back pain until Doc John Clapp diagnosed and did the correct procedure.
Would never refer anyone to this doctor. I can't even describe him, as I only saw him once, his decision, not mine. I was referred to him because of severe back, hip and leg pain. I went to my appointment with him. He ordered MRI. I was to get results on 4-17-18. I was in severe pain, so I called office on the 12th. and 13th. trying to see if I could get an injection in my hip. His asst. finally got on the phone, gave me the MRI results over the phone! REFUSED TO SEE ME to discuss MRI.
He was very specific in his answers and explained everything in great detail and made sure we understood. He took his time and we didn't feel rushed. I would definitely recommend him.
