Impatient, Terrible Bedside Manner I was surprised by Dr. Field's lack of bedside manner and consideration for my children. She did not take any time to explain the procedure she was performing and was very impatient with the fear my child was experiencing. I only write this review to warn parents who are looking for a "kid friendly" place to take their children for serious dental work. Worst pediatric dentist ever Dr. Field may be ok for a regular pediatric patient but please do not take your children here if they are at all phobic about seeing the dentist. My daughter was a patient here several years ago and was always uneasy about going and having her teeth cleaned but she somehow managed to get thru the cleaning. When it was time for her to get a cavity filled she was so nervous that she would not open her mouth. Dr. Field actually yelled at her and called her "rude" to her face and told her to leave. Great Pediatric Dentist Claire Field is a very nice and caring pediatric dentist. The office staff is very friendly and accommodating. My daughter had to have a few teeth pulled. I brought her to this dentistry and she watched the television while getting her teeth extracted. My daughter did not feel her teeth being pulled. Claire Field is the best.
Dr. Claire Fields Dr. Fields's office is located in a house-setting. The waiting room is equipped with plenty of toys to make your child more at ease before his/her appointment. Up to 3 years old, the staff allows the parent to go back with the child. After that, the staff takes him/her back and they assist with the check-up. Lori C. McKinleyville CA I have been taking my daughters to Dr Field's for over ten years- they are always so calm and put the kids at ease immediatley with their kind words. I admire the staff for their professionalism and eagerness to help. I have given out dozens of referrals- we moved 3k miles away last year, and I still make appts with Dr Fields on our trips home. I cannot say enough great things-
Field Claire B Dds is not recommended Her bedside manner was terrible, she yelled at my terrified daughter. She was impatient and she and her staff did not explain what they were doing or work to calm my child. Office staff was also rude.
Been to the rest and Dr Field IS the Best!! Excellent Pediatric Dentist! Would not go any place else. With 4 children i have been too many pediatic dentists only to finally find the best! Have been a patient for 6 years. Children are not easy patients especially when its working on teeth, Dr Field has compassion unlike most. I have been to the rest and she is definately the BEST!!! Office staff is Wonderful as well!!
Having run through our share of ped dentists due to my daughter s fear of them, I cannot express how wonderful it is to have found Dr. Claire and her staff. They are beyond amazing with both the scared child and the over nervous parent!
