Shooting at Civic Square Apartments - Just Yards From My Sleeping Baby On December 24, I witnessed a man being shot approximately 30 yards from where my wife and our 9-month-old daughter were sleeping. This shooting stemmed from an argument over loud music. The victim was shot multiple times, including twice in the head. Do not move to this apartment complex if you have a dog or cat. I have a small dog and never once had issues with fleas until moving here. We pay a ridiculous amount in rent to be having this issue & for so long. Our neighbors bring in stray cats and breed them which I believe is where the fleas came from using common sense. We have professionally treated the inside of our home as well as flea treated our dog consistently and constantly with no luck to completely rid the problem. We have 2 young children that also get bites ... read more

Worst apartment experience of all time. Every single time Civic Square is able to choose between helping out residents or screwing them over, they will choose the latter. Expect them to keep your deposit, tow your vehicle, allow cockroaches and rats to overrun your unit, and to move into a unit that is dirty with damaged appliances. Package theft is rampant and they don't care.
The Worst Rental Experiences I've Ever Had I would strongly advise anyone considering this apartment complex to look elsewhere. My time here was filled with frustration, poor living conditions, and unethical practices. The unit I was given had obviously been subjected to cheap, poorly executed renovations. These quick fixes left multiple gaps and structural flaws, which led to ongoing rodent issues — including several mice and, shockingly, even snakes getting inside the apartment.
